Sample Lesson Plan

The sample lesson plan below outlines typical classroom tasks for this Academic English Course. By requiring students to prepare assignments outside of class (i.e. the flipped classroom), in-class time is maximized. This increases opportunities for students to communicate with their peers. Student collaboration is also emphasized through team-based learning (TBL) activities, where students negotiate team answers and provide peer feedback.
