Assignments

2-3 Page Academic Paper

As part of the course grade, students are expected to research and write a 2-3 page academic paper. The writing process will be broken up into 3 parts: 

1. Students will choose a topic and use research tools and methods learned in class to independently research their topic. 
2. Students will write and submit an outline for their paper during week two. 
3. Students will write a well-developed 2-3 page academic paper due in the final week of the course. 

This paper will count towards 20% of students' final grades. It will be graded on content richness, organization, vocabulary and grammatical accuracy, as well as adherence to formal writing conventions.
